When should upholstery be cleaned?
Family sofas and holiday-rental seating collect dust, pet hair, sun cream and spills. Some residue stays on the surface; some settles into seams and deeper layers of fabric. We assess which areas can be cleaned without putting the material at risk.
For holiday rentals, we plan around the next guest changeover and allow for drying. We assess old stains, fading and material damage beforehand so you know what result to expect.

Which photos do you need?
The complete piece of furniture, a close-up of the fabric with flash in which the weave and pattern are visible, and photos of the soiling. The photos help us make an initial assessment of the material.
Which method suits linen and velvet?
We check the fibre, colour fastness, seams and upholstery construction. We then choose a suitable method and explain which stains are likely to respond to treatment.
How long does the sofa take to dry?
That depends on the cover, the upholstery core, humidity and ventilation. After the check we give a realistic drying recommendation. There is no single drying time that applies to every sofa.
